| Search and Rescue training at the lake--Mark With Reno |
1. All training is reward based and executed with positive reinforcement. We use and endorse
Innotek brand e-collars for the rapid training method. We also use our trained canines to
train your dog(s).Our canines are used as examples. Every breed is different so finding
out what best motivates each individual allows for the best suited training methods to be applied. We use other canines that
are already very well trained to assist in teaching new students what is expected from them as well as setting examples concerning
common and general behavior patterns. We use chicken franks for training treats. We train each dog best suited to
their owner's wishes and temperment. Voice command training is always the best thing overall. We try to perfect the
one-command-first-response technique. We use Martingale No- Slip Collars and Innotek Brand Remote training
systems.
2. I
can train dogs how to swim by using life-jackets the first and subsequent times out. Dogs don't know when they are tired
and simply aern't aware that their frenzied pace of activity wears them down to where they can't swim any longer without
them for any period long term. The life jackets are an aid at keeping them afloat during their initial trials
of learning how to swim. At the lake we strive to bring out the best that the breed in training can offer. I can
train dogs that are water crazy how to search and rescue to those that are drowning or in need of help by play acting the
role in question. With life Jackets dogs can swim further, longer and can learn to bear the weight of a second party
that are in tow and/or are clinging on as the dog paddles and strokes itself toward the shore.
++Aside from that, all training is around the clock. I, Mark Lee, live here with at
least 20-45 dogs at any given time. I don't clock out, go home, come in & punch a clock, leave when
I'm sick, take a vacation, take the day off for whatever reason... No. I never leave! I have a home, a slice of paradise,
I work where Iive, I sleep with the dogs, I eat with the dogs. I sometimes work until midnight caring for and training
other peoples dogs. I sometimes sleep with my leash firmly attached to my left side wearing my carpenter's pants. I
sometimes fall asleep on the floor of the kennel room filled with 20 dogs, on a blanket that belongs to them. I wake each
morning @5:00 am in order to shower, have my coffee, sometimes I don't actully sleep at all, dogs rotating throughout the
night, I work on my website during the insommina periods. I am a neat and a clean freak. I have 5 employees. They work
hardcore and they are happy, EACH ONE TO HIS OWN DUTIES. I spend all my money with payroll and improving my kennels. I am
driven. I am a fanatic for gadgets and comfort. I am insane when it comes to customer satisfaction. I am essentially totally
dedicated to you and your dog. In my business there is no room for error. Training
is personal and one on one. I personally have 7 dogs of my own. Those dogs, when called upon, work for me and for the client's
dog(s), and they teach and instruct (the training dogs) exactly what to do and how to do it on
the canine level.
