PitBulls are a special breed in a special class. Most people who acquire this breed are ignorantly unaware of how
to accomodate this dog to be a lovable, loyal, and a life-long companion. Certainly, these dogs don't deserve what they are
preordained to be. Pitbulls are wonderful, awesome animals, even more so at being truly intelligent and highly trainable. Aggression
in this breed has been bred by human ignorance and neglect....,for these dogs are always under the gun of sterotyping and
hearsay. Abuse a human child, label him/her as not worthy; show me a difference of a learned behavior where one lifeform
or another has been given direction and knowledge as oppossed to one that has not
been given anything but oppression and misunderstanding.
Pitbulls are misunderstood and second guessed. In all actuality they are one of the most loyal and eager to please breeds
that I have ever known. Man's negative preconception of these magnificent animals has been forever embedded into the
minds of this particular breed.Pitbulls have been bred for all the wrong reasons.... Evil people with evil intentions have
used this breed from a long history- past to parlay this breed as a viscious and unamicable animal. The truth is clear: Nobody
of this sort has ever bothered to ask the dog about what it really wants to be. The answer,of course, is the same as all:
I want to be loved and to be in love with you and to be all that you request of me. I don't want to die, fight, struggle,
or be abused or used, I just want to be a dog, I want to play, and be your life-long friend and companion, I just want a home
and a family....just like you,..and, most of all, I want to live life in peace and with maximum happiness.
As a dog lover and a professional trainer, I will accept Pitbulls for training that are 8-12 months and
under, and from only a one owner past,or from an owner who is dedicated to having a Pit as a companion, just as one
would have a Lab or any other breed known for such amiable liasions. I have had much experience with Pitbulls that have,
unfortunately, returned to an environment in which they were uncared for previously, only to break or lose all the training
that was instilled and paid for by the owner's on the outset. To me, it's not the money, I'd rather turn this breed down as
oppossed to ever getting involved with the dog, knowing that it is going to do nothing, because of the owner's future care
and handling,or real concern from the outset,or just the pure lackluster overall with continuing what has been taught. I teach
companionship and obedience, which means your Pitbull will be a basic lapdog when appropiate,a great pet overall under any
circumstance. Bring me a Pit between 3-12 months old, and you will get a life-long, trained companion.
45-60 days is my training time. One must understand that Pitbulls have the capacity to change into something else that
is not anticipated nor expected. One cannot half-step with this breed. Unfortunately, most Pits are owned and acquired
for all the wrong reasons. I do not tolerate owners who are just naturally neglectful or just plain STUPID. That is just
a sign of a pet owner pretending to be a pet lover. I am not willing to put my reputation on the line in lieu of money. This
breed is a force to be reckoned with. If the owner is not willing to address the proper care and resonsibility of this breed then
neither am I. Owner dedication and up-scale accomodations are my hell-bent, pre-screening requirements. This method weeds
out the weeds. I feel defeated and become weary when I see this breed going back to a trailer park mentality and/or environment. I
use only positive training and interactive methods. I Guarantee my services. But only to those who want a Pitbull as a companion,
not something chained to a tree, or left in a perposterous kennel situation. You want a Mercedes-Benz? Then one
must be able to afford the luxury and the cost of its maintenance. Serious inquieries only! One must want a Pitbull for all
the right reasons and be capable of exercising a HANDLER status. I'd rather not even get involved or become attached. This
has happened. It is simply too much work for me.
